House of the Wasp is a Level 5 Shadowdark dungeon delve into a samurai castle where you can seek out a masterwork weapon, be trained by the Wasp Clan masters in various skills, help the Rat Clan ninjas to steal the secrets of the Wasp, or help the Toad Clan monks to burn the whole place down!
Journey through 29 Areas full of people who politely acknowledge your presence and quietly look for ways to kill you. Wasps, giant wasps, wasp-eating giant weasels, and toads are also wandering about. As well as the demonic wasp oni.
Should you find a path all the way to the matriarch of the house, Lady Vespidi will invite you to claim her newest creation: the Parasite Spear! All you have to do is defeat her, or her warriors, or her house Champion…
Sounds easy enough, surely?
Playtesting this as a one-shot was a blast, but you can also spend 2-3 sessions in the House of the Wasp if you want to see every room, learn every skill, and engage with every faction.
